When served chilled, the tea opened with the characteristic perfume of La France pear at the head of each sip. This was followed by the emergence of soft, dewy jasmine notes through the body. The pairing of pear and jasmine heightened each other’s floral qualities, contributing a natural sweetness and a smooth, almost buttery mouthfeel. Toward the finish, the jasmine gradually receded, allowing the fruitier aspects of the pear to reassert themselves, accompanied by a subtle astringency that revealed the green tea base and cleansed the palate. The flavour profile was notably similar to the T2 Jasmine Pear, though with a cleaner, more delicate finish.
Overall, this was a well-balanced and elegantly constructed beverage, offering complexity without heaviness—undoubtedly worth repurchasing.
