Sweetness was restrained to the point of being almost absent. The fresh apple cubes at the base were inconsistent: some were entirely tasteless with a spongy texture, while others delivered the tart crunch of a Granny Smith. The apple jelly, however, was the standout, offering a soft, melting texture reminiscent of warabi mochi, with a vibrant, sweet, and juicy apple flavour.
Overall, this confirmed prior experiences with Arctic White—tea bases that lack depth or refinement compared with competitors. The apple jelly was genuinely enjoyable, but unfortunately the drinks available to pair it with are not worth repurchasing.
