The accompanying side dishes were mixed in quality. The konjac was carried by the spicy sauce, and the quail eggs were firm but unremarkable. The kimchi lacked depth in both texture and flavour, while the seaweed and capsicum offered a pleasant mirin-like brightness. The fish cakes stood out as the most satisfying element, carrying a savoury, well-seasoned profile.

Dolsot Bibimbap (Beef) ($23.00)
A section of rice adhered to the hot stone bowl to our delight, though it failed to develop into a notably crisp crust once mixed. Nonetheless, the overall composition was balanced, with fresh vegetables—bean sprouts, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and seaweed—providing varied textures. The bulgogi beef was generously portioned and well seasoned, complemented by a perfectly fried, slightly oozy egg. Additional gochujang was provided for adjustment to taste. While the rice could have achieved more crunch, the dish remained satisfying for its freshness and well-executed components.

Spicy Pork Belly Meat Set (Grilled) ($23.80)
This version leaned sweeter and milder than the equivalent at Park Bong Sook but benefitted from the use of pork belly, which gave it a richer flavour and tender, fatty texture. The spring onions, sliced finely, absorbed the sauce effectively without overwhelming it, and the inclusion of enoki mushrooms and bean sprouts introduced balance beyond the usual onion-heavy profile. The miso soup, however, was bland and forgettable. Despite that, the stir-fried pork itself was excellent—flavourful, well-cooked, and worth ordering again.
Overall, a reliable and enjoyable Korean BBQ spot offering fresh, well-executed mains, though some supporting elements lacked refinement.
