This is the T2 Jasmine Pear, a limited edition tea released with a feature tin in 2021.
The tea is a looseleaf blend of green tea with jasmine green tea (30%) and pear pieces (20%).
Steeping 3 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 80°C for 2 minutes, the tea was a transparent golden colour with a gently sweet crisp pear aroma. Served hot, the same crisp notes of pear — specifically green Packham pears — came through at the head of each sip before dewy jasmine notes develop in the body and finishing with a brief vegetal hint in the finish. The overall mouthfeel of the tea was smooth and light, with the pairing of green tea with jasmine and pear here being a deliciously harmonious blend that is more refined than the similar blend of the Madame Flavour Green Jasmine Pear and lighter than the black tea base of the Lupicia Qutea.
