On the back of my positive kiwifruit experience with Daily Juice Apple Pear Kiwi & Lime, I tried the Chatime Kiwi Green Tea ($5.50, +$0.00.75 for aloe). It’s a seasonal flavour for summer.
The tea is a cloudy yellow colour with kiwifruit pulp suspended and a sweet and fruity aroma. Consumed chilled, the kiwifruit notes throughout the drink are subtle, taking on the sweetness of the almost overripe fruit with the kiwifruit seeds bringing texture and the more pronounced kiwifruit flavour when chewed through. That said, the drink lacked the acidity that defines kiwifruit and tastes mostly like sweetened green tea.
