This Bilpin Cider Co Non-Alcoholic Apple & Raspberry Cider is the last of the non-alcoholic ciders we picked up from the cellar in Bilpin. It is an unsweetened blend of crushed Granny Smith, Pink Lady and Red Delicious Apples with the addition of raspberry.
The beverage was a translucent red-orange colour with a sweet apple aroma and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, vibrant notes of sweet apple came through at the head of each sip and were restrained swiftly in the body by a slight tartness from the raspberries. The tingly bubbles came to prominence towards the finish before a crisper apple sweetness returned and lingered subtly in the aftertaste. Overall, this non-alcoholic cider had a balanced sweetness and acidity but lacked the extra citrus twist from the blood orange variation.
