Upon tasting, the lychee notes emerged, starting with gentle sweetness and delicate floral undertones, evolving into a moderate acidity that evoked the juicy essence of fresh fruit. The generous carbonation in the finish provided a palate-cleansing effect, leaving behind a refreshing aftertaste. While reminiscent of Yeo’s Lychee Drink, this version offered a less pronounced sweetness and a touch more acidity, resulting in a fresher, more natural lychee flavor despite both using fragrance rather than fruit juice. Additionally, the added carbonation enhanced the beverage’s refreshing quality, and along with the absence of the salty notes in the Kirin Sekai no Kitchen Kara Salty Lychee, made it a preferred choice.
