The beverage was transparent and off white with an acidic fermented aroma and moderate carbonation. Consumed chilled, a crisp apple flavour came through with a gentle sweetness at the head of each sip before the fermented acidity developed in the body ahead of a clean finish from the carbonation. Overall, the apple flavour of this kombucha is rather one-dimensional and lacked the depth of brands such as Lo Bros.
