This is the Lo Bros Organic Kombucha Cola. The cola is made using a blend of kombucha and raw apple cider vinegar, infused with botanical spice and citrus.
The drink was a translucent brown colour with an acidic apple cider vinegar aroma and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, the apple cider is prominent from the head of the sip, with its acidity countered by a prominent caramelly sweetness in the body that persists into the finish where a hint of the bitterness of stevia came through ahead of the bubbles to cleanse the palate. The overall flavour has the acidity and caramel qualities of cola but lacked its characteristic sharpness with the herbaceous qualities giving it an overall flavour that recalled monk fruit-based Chinese beverages. We’re not fans.
