This is the Lo Bros Organic Kombucha Yuzu Lemonade. It was flavoured with both yuzu and lemon.

The beverage was as a translucent, cloudy orange hue, exuding a sweet fermented aroma with a moderate carbonation. When consumed chilled, the yuzu notes became apparent from the beginning of each sip, accompanied by a bright sweetness and featuring a floral citrus quality reminiscent of the fruit’s juice without any zestiness. Notably, the flavour stood out independent of the lemon, which surprisingly took a low profile in the overall taste. After the initial sweetness, a moderate acidity with distinct apple cider vinegar notes emerged in the middle of the sip, gradually diminishing towards the finish. In the closing moments, the presence of stevia became more pronounced, lingering briefly on the palate.
Overall, this kombucha was enjoyable, embracing its identity without apology, yet maintaining a subtle character that allowed the yuzu and lemon notes to share the spotlight. We would’ve preferred a hint more zestiness from either the yuzu or lemon for a more citrussy flavour. This kombucha would not be a preference for repurchasing, but we would willingly indulge if offered.
