This is the Guozi Shule Pomelo Oolong. It consisted of an anxi tieguanyin oolong base flavoured with pomelo and apple juice.
The beverage had a clear light yellow hue with a sweet and smooth pomelo aroma. The floral orchid notes of the tea were evident from the start of each sip, developing with a subtle mineral quality mid-sip before the pomelo notes introduced a fruity citrussy sweetness along with a subtle acidity without zestiness. In the finish, the floral and mineral notes combined with the fruity sweetness to create a honey-like flavour that lingered pleasantly in the aftertaste, accompanied by a subtle astringency.
Overall, the pomelo flavour was reminiscent of the yuzu in Woongjin Teazle Yuja & Green Tea, and its refreshing fruit and tea flavour was very enjoyable, making it worth repurchasing.
