The Nespresso Capriccio is a blend of ‘South American Arabicas grown at high altitude […] balanced with the perfect amount of Brazilian Arabica and a touch of Robusta’.

The blend is lightly roasted with a low intensity of 5 out of 13. It comes in a bottle green coloured capsule.

The espresso was a translucent deep brown colour with a lightly acidic cereal aroma. Made as a long black with a 1:1 water to espresso ratio, a light acidity came through and developed to a mellow fruitiness – reminiscent of pome fruits like pear — into the body before aromatic cereal notes emerge leaving a moderate – but enjoyable – bitterness lingering with the acidity in the finish. Overall, the coffee had a light body best appreciated without milk.
This Nespresso Capriccio contained 10 x 5.3 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
