Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips Golden Ale Beer Batter

I’m a fan of thick cut chips because, at their best, they have both the crunchy skin and a fluffy centre. With French fries, their’s not enough potato for them to be much more than crispy when made well. These here are Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips Golden Ale Beer Batter.

We forgot to take a photo of the chips themselves, but they do bake to an audible crunchy skin while retaining a fluffy centre. Unlike the Sealord Beer Batter Hoki Fillets, there’s no hint of beer in either the smell or flavour of these chips, unfortunately, so there’s not much flavour to these chips other than a gentle saltiness. So, while these chips have a satisfying texture, we can get the same texture with more seasoning with the other flavours in the series.

This Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips Golden Ale Beer Batter contained 600 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
