Glico Bisco Maple

This is the Glico Bisco Maple. It contained 1% maple sugar.

Each box contained 3 packs each containing 5 biscuits, each measuring about 4 x 2.2 x 1 cm.

The cream filling in the sandwich was evenly distributed, matching the thickness of each biscuit half, resulting in a ratio of 1 part cream to 2 parts biscuit. Upon opening the packaging, a strong maple aroma emanated from the biscuits, persisting through eating. However, this robust scent did not fully translate into the taste experience, as the cream offered only a subtle hint of maple flavour. Despite this, the cream was pleasantly light and not overly sweet, while the biscuit was light and crunchy with a fine crumb. Overall, while we appreciated the bite-size convenience of these biscuits, we prefer the more intense maple flavour found in varieties that prominently feature maple butter from Canada.

This Glico Bisco Maple contained 64.5 g (3 packs x 5 biscuits). It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
