This is the CC’s Corn Chips Taco.
Each chip was triangular in form, measuring approximately 6 cm per side, with a vivid orange-red to brown hue. On opening the bag, there was an immediately recognisable tangy, spiced taco aroma.
On tasting, the surface delivered an upfront savoury tang as soon as it touched the palate, before the chip yielded with a firm, clearly audible crunch. The corn base then came through with a familiar cheese-forward profile typical of seasoned corn chips. From mid-bite onwards, the tanginess became more pronounced, setting this flavour apart from other variants in the range. In the second half of the bite, a tingling spiciness emerged and gradually intensified, building pleasantly across successive chips without tipping into harshness or fatigue.
Overall, a bold and assertive flavour built around tang and spice rather than heat, offering a more dynamic and engaging profile than standard cheese-based corn chips.
