These were Doritos Corn Chips After Dark Southern Fried Chicken, part of the same series as the Tacos After Midnight. Southern fried chicken is the perfect twist on ordinary chicken seasoning for a flavourful snack.
These corn chips taste like an amped up version of ordinary chicken flavoured chips. I wouldn’t identify the flavour as being southern fried chicken immediately, but with that knowledge, the crunch of the corn chips do recall the crunch of crusted southern fried chicken while the spices in the seasoning do recall the juicy and flavourful innards of the chicken. We’d have enjoyed more of or stronger flavour from, the seasoning, but overall, this is our favourite from the Tacos After Midnight series.
