This is the Doritos Corn Chips Guacamole.
These were triangular corn chips measuring approximately 6 cm per side. Each chip had a yellow corn base generously coated in a vivid green seasoning that imparted a distinct lime-forward aroma.
On tasting, the chips offered a clean, crisp crunch. The flavour opened with a surprisingly authentic buttery avocado note—something rarely achieved in this format—followed by a mild jalapeño heat that built gradually mid-bite. This transitioned into a bright, tangy lime finish that lingered briefly. The spice level was moderate, developing warmth between bites without overwhelming the palate.
Overall, surprisingly true to the concept of guacamole in flavour, though the bright green colour was initially disconcerting. A novel experience, though not one to repurchase.
