Koikeya Sucorn Torokeru Quattro Cheese

This is the Koikeya Sucorn Torokeru Quattro Cheese. They consisted of extrdued corn snacks flavoured with a seasoning powder of four types of cheese: gouda, camembert, mozzarella and cheddar.

These extruded corn snacks had a vibrant yellow-orange hue, and were coated in powdered seasoning that emitted a sharp cheddar aroma. Despite the bold scent, the initial flavour was surprisingly mild, with a subtle sweetness. As the bite progressed, hints of milkiness surfaced, along with a subtle tang, intertwined with the distinct taste of cultured butter. Towards the finish, the cheese flavour deepened, becoming more earthy and savoury. These corn snacks offered a complex cheese experience, complemented by the satisfying crunch of the corn, but the flavour wasn’t compelling enough for a repurchase.

This Koikeya Sucorn Torokeru Quattro Cheese contained 78 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
