This is the Koikeya The Nori Shio.
The chips were a thickness of 1.5 mm, accompanied by a robust seaweed aroma and a lavish coating of green seaweed and red roasted chilli pepper flecks. Upon tasting, the chips had a satisfying crispness, although slightly less intense than that of kettle-cooked chips. A subtle saltiness graced the forefront of each bite, which then unfolded into the savoury depth of the seaweed. The latter half of the chip carried a pronounced potato flavour, with a touch of chilli emerging towards the conclusion, gradually intensifying to a delightful heat after a few chips. These chips certainly delivered on their premium reputation, both in terms of flavour and texture.

This Koikeya The Nori Shio contained 54 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
