Smith’s Pizza Hut Garlic Bread

We first found out that Pizza Hut was collaborating with Smith’s from a story on our Google Now feed that customers had cleaned out shops of stock of this Smith’s Pizza Hut Garlic Bread on the day it was released. True enough, it wasn’t another two weeks before our local Coles restocked this buttery and garlicky flavour.

The chips were a yellow colour with green specks of chives and a buttery aroma. Upon tasting, there’s a rich buttery flavour at the start of each bite before strong notes of garlic emerged in the body and give way to a prominent potato flavour in the tail before returning to linger pleasantly in the aftertaste. Overall, the combination of the buttery and garlicky flavours reminds of garlic bread without a doubt. We can’t vouch for whether the flavour was true to Pizza Hut’s garlic bread – we haven’t had it in years – but it’s tasty all the same and well worth the wait.

This Smith’s Pizza Hut Garlic Bread contained 150 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
