This is the Asahi Mintia Breeze Crystal Silver, a mint formulated for use while wearing face masks.

Each mint presented in a cylindrical form, measuring approximately 1 cm in diameter and 0.5 cm in height, with a uniform matte white appearance. Aroma was led by a strong peppermint note.
On tasting, the initial contact delivered a smooth surface with a mild, restrained sweetness. The mint profile developed gradually, introducing a cooling sensation that intensified over several seconds. Through the mid-palate, the cooling effect increased to a clear, refreshing intensity, reaching a sinus-clearing level without becoming sharp or painful. Sweetness remained controlled, allowing the mint character to dominate. Towards the finish, the mint maintained its cooling presence while beginning to taper, avoiding abrupt decline. The aftertaste carried a sustained freshness, with residual cooling persisting for an extended duration. Texture remained consistent, with a slow, even dissolution and no chalkiness or sharp edges throughout.
Overall, a peppermint-forward mint with restrained sweetness, sustained cooling intensity, and a smooth, even dissolution.
This Asahi Mintia Breeze Crystal Silver contained 22 g (30 pieces). It was produced in Japan and received as a gift in Sydney, Australia in 2025.
