Hi-Chew originated with fruit flavours and indeed remain the only flavours available in some overseas markets. This Morinaga Hi-Chew Cola is one of a handful of soft drink flavours in the range available in Japan.

Each piece of Cola Hi-Chew is 2cm x 1 cm x 1 cm and cola brown colour throughout.

There’s a strong smell and taste of cola from chew to the last. The chewing experience of the candy is on par with general Hi-Chew standards, with just enough resistance to sink your teeth into (being neither too hard nor soft) while retaining the chewiness right through to continuously release healthy bouts of flavour, and all that without having to spend the next hour extracting it from between your teeth. The addition of sherbert or popping candy would’ve improved my enjoyable even further by emulating the carbonation in cola
This stick of Morinaga Hi-Chew Cola contained 7 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Ōsaka, Japan in 2014.
