UHA Mikakutō Ninja Meshi Kyohō Grape

This is the UHA Mikakutō Ninja Meshi Kyohō Grape. It used concentrated juice from kyohō grapes, concentrated grape extract, fermented grape skin powder, and grape juice powder.

With a rounded rectangular shape measuring approximately 1.7 x 1.3 x 0.5 cm, each gummy had a pastel purple hued coating of compressed grape juice powder, much like on chewing gum. Upon contact with the palate, the water-soluble coating offered an initial burst of grape flavour with salivating, bright acidity while the interior gummy remained solid. By the time the exterior coating dissolved completely, the gummy began to soften, transitioning to the rich and aromatic sweetness of ripe grapes. The chewiness of the gummy, even in comparison to Meiji Cola Up, proved quite tough initially but gradually softened as the grape flavor intensified. Despite the extended chew time compared to other gummies, we appreciated the invigorating acidity of the initial grape flavor, providing a wake-up call, followed by the firm chew of the internal gummy that demanded focused concentration.
