Kyōhō. This flavour used purée from large Kyōhō grapes cultivated in Yamanashi Prefecture. The candy had an opaque purple taffy layer enveloping a translucent green taffy core, with embedded translucent purple chewy bits. The smooth taffy layer released an aromatic and rich kyohō grape flavour, while the chewy bits provided a delightful touch of acidity. This combination effectively captured the notes of fresh kyohō.
Arida Mikan. This flavour included the juice of arida mikan from Wakayama Prefecture, renowned for their intense sweetness. The candy had an opaque orange taffy with translucent orange chewy bits embedded within. The taffy element captured the sweet mikan flavour, featuring a crisp sweetness with subtle acidity. With each chew, a progressively juicy mikan flavour was released, while the gummy bits added a vibrant and zesty citrus note, akin to citrus oils, complementing the overall taste.
