These Doritos After Dark Tacos at Midnight Corn Chips are a rather natural flavour pairing. After all, the corn tortilla is already an integral part to tacos, so the corn chip base isn’t a fundamental change.
These corn chips smell and taste like tacos, with the flavours of salsa, tomato, sour cream and guacamole coming through tangy and creamy alongside notes of fatty seasoned meat in the background, not unlike a real taco. Each chip is coated relatively evenly with a generous coating of seasoning. The way each chip recalled a taco is uncanny, although we’re not sure we’d prefer these over original cheese flavoured corn chips.
