This is the Glico Ice no Mi Wanashi. It’s a bag of bite-size gelato balls and consisted of 65% nashi pear juice.
Each ball is around 2 cm in diameter with a sweet nashi aroma. Upon tasting, the balls had a tasteless, hard, icy exterior that gave way to a thick and creamy gelato interior with a juicy nashi flavour coming through immediately. The flavour was rich with a balanced sweetness and much like the nashi-flavoured Papiko ice cream with a creamier mouthfeel and similarly refreshing aftertaste. After the koi kiwi flavour, these Ice no Mi gelato balls continue to be a delicious treat.
This Glico Ice no Mi Wanashi contained 12 pieces or 84 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
