This is the Nuts 4 Nuts Honey-Roasted Cashews.
Each cashew was individually coated in a thin layer of caramelised honey, providing an initial crisp sweetness followed by the softer crunch of the cashews. The rich, buttery savoury flavour of the cashews complemented the earlier dark caramel notes, dominating the second half of each bite. The caramelisation was sufficiently dark to avoid sugary sweetness, adding depth to the cashew flavour without overpowering it, and offering a great contrast in terms of sweetness and savouriness, as well as crispness and crunch. Unlike other nuts such as almonds, there were no husks on the cashews to impart unwanted bitterness. Overall, these cashews were very enjoyable, though we prefer the pistachios and peanuts.
