This Mango Jasmine Green Tea from Gotcha ($6.40, no ice, fixed sweetness) was one of the last fruit drinks we tried after our earlier run with the overly syrupy flavour of the lychee and the absence of tea flavour of the grape. The tea is a translucent golden yellow colour with mango pulp suspended throughout. Consumed chilled, bright notes of dewy jasmine came through and persist throughout the sip with the specks of fresh mango pulp bringing the only sweetness to the drink. Incredibly, there’s nothing remotely syrupy about the flavour of this drink, thus making it one of the most refreshing bubble teas we’ve tried to date.
