The beverage presented a layered appearance, with a red base containing strawberry and white coconut pearls, topped by two-thirds of an opaque green layer of coconut juice and matcha, and finished with a circular disc of coconut flesh, about 6 cm in diameter.

When consumed chilled, the matcha was harshly astringent and bitter, overly grassy, and lacking freshness, giving the impression of low-grade powder. Its natural umami was poorly imitated by the savoury, electrolytic quality of the coconut juice. The strawberry component was pleasant but underwhelming—more like a few macerated pieces than the rich, jammy quality found in better strawberry–matcha combinations. The coconut pearls were the highlight, releasing a paste-like coconut texture before yielding a crunchy piece of flesh, which was enjoyable. However, the inclusion of a large slab of coconut flesh was impractical, as it could not be consumed through a straw and would have been far better cut into smaller pieces.

Overall, the drink suffered from poorly considered textures, and a low-quality matcha component, making it not worth repurchasing.
