As the drink progressed, the profile shifted with notable finesse towards a more pronounced matcha expression. Grassy and fresh, the matcha came through with minimal bitterness, a clean vegetal quality, and a gentle sweetness, while the mouthfeel became lighter yet remained creamy and cohesive. The absence of osmanthus was felt, as its honeyed floral notes would likely have added further depth and aromatic lift to the melon component.
