The beverage had an opaque beige hue with visible ribbons of kiwifruit pulp throughout. Consumed chilled, the golden kiwifruit flavour was immediately noticeable but lacked depth, likely due to the fruit not being at peak ripeness. The addition of apple to the ice blend was evident, contributing a subtle background flavour. While the kiwifruit purée provided the strongest fruit notes, it didn’t enhance the overall taste significantly, leaving the drink tasting somewhat diluted. The green tea base was also underwhelming, with little discernible flavour or astringency. We prefer the Kiwi Slush that was once available The Alley Lujiaoxiang.
