I’m thrilled by the increasing number of stores dedicated to selling ready-to-drink teas. After trying the French Earl Grey Hot Chocolate at T Totaler, I returned to try one of their more basic blends: T Totaler Rosy Mint.

This is a blend of organic peppermint sprinkled with rose petals that is ‘refreshingly good for digestion and skin’.

The tisane is a transparent golden brown colour with a mint nose. Served hot, the flavour of peppermint dominates from the head to the tail of each sip, rounded by the (very) subtle floral hints of rose. Overall, the tisane is very ordinary that’s not worth returning for or keeping in a tea collection – it needs a much stronger rose flavour and a sharper peppermint note to elevate it to something floral and refreshing – beyond a washed out peppermint tea. I enjoy the flavour of Twining’s over this for a fraction of the price.
