We were delighted with the texture of the Golden Ale Beer Batter flavour of these chips but disappointed with the lack of flavour so we returned and picked up some of the flavoured chips. This here is Birds Eye Deli Seasoned Chips Parmesan Flavour with Garlic & Basil.

These chips bake to the same crispy outside with fluffy innards, while the parmesan ‘flavour’ seemed to refer to the chips having the flavour of the cheese without the actual cheese melting to a mess. And it does indeed deliver, giving the chips a moreish nuttiness that, along with the mellow garlic and basil notes, keeps us reaching back for more.
