This is the BubeLeh Bakery Flat Bread Za’atar

Each piece was circular, approximately 20 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick, and dusted with za’atar seasoning.

Eaten at room temperature, the flatbread had a dense, bready texture. However, when toasted for 2.5 minutes, the exterior developed a light crispness, while the interior became soft and tender, though without the pronounced yeast flavour found in the brand’s mini sesame bagels. The generous za’atar seasoning provided a savoury, tangy, and slightly nutty flavour, with earthy thyme, citrusy sumac, and a subtle richness from toasted sesame seeds. It was enjoyable on its own, with the za’atar enhancing the dough, yet also paired beautifully with smoked salmon and baba ganoush. The seasoning was well-balanced—not overpowering—though its aromatic scent lingered in the house and in burps long after eating. Overall, this was a flavourful and satisfying flatbread, well worth repurchasing.
