Bundaberg is the brand we turn to when we’re in the mood for something a bit fancier than PET bottle soft drink. Their soft drinks are craft-brewed over two days and this Bundaberg Sparkling Drink Pineapple & Coconut is one of the more recent flavours in the lineup.

The drink was a cloudy yellow colour with a sweet tropical nose and moderate carbonation. Served chilled, the sweet tropical notes of pineapple come through ahead of a prominent coconut body before the fresh pineapple flavour returns in the finish and leaves a light sweetness lingering in the aftertaste. The flavour of the coconut is that of the mature fruit, rather than of young coconut, so the overall flavour of the drink takes on the creamier mouthfeel of the mature fruit, rather than lighter, refreshing notes of the young fruit.
