Not a fan of Chobani generally but still interested in trying ‘exotic’ flavours, I’d limited myself to buying only their ‘Limited Batch’ flavours. This Chobani Greek Yoghurt Limited Batch Apple Pie from May 2018 is one such flavour, with the apple pie blend making up 18%.

The fruit blend is at the bottom as with all Chobani tubs. Mixing through before eating, notes of cinnamon are very prominent from the start with the cooked apple coming through shortly afterwards with a reasonably firm bite. The tartness of the yoghurt emphasises the apple flavour, reminding of a Granny Smith. Overall, the flavour recalled the filling of apple pies from McDonald’s with a stronger cinnamon flavour and without the added crunch of the pastry.

This tub of Chobani Greek Yoghurt Limited Batch Apple Pie contained 170 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
