This is the Bibigo Whole Squid Body Mandu.

Each bag contained five mandu, each measuring approximately 10 cm in length, with a visible strip of squid meat protruding from one end, partially surrounded by the filling and encased in a circular dumpling wrapper.
Preparation involved pan-frying in 2–4 tablespoons of oil over low–medium heat for 8–9 minutes until cooked through and golden.

Served fresh, the wrapper provided a thin, crisp exterior with just enough structural integrity. Inside, the squid strip offered a tender, gently chewy texture, while the surrounding filling delivered a seasoned seafood flavour with varied textures from glass noodles, squid pieces, carrot, and chives.
Overall, this was a highly enjoyable snack, flavourful enough to stand on its own without condiments. While somewhat expensive, it felt worthwhile as an occasional purchase.
This Bibigo Whole Squid Body Mandu contained 200 g (5 pieces). It was produced in South Korea and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2025.
