The drink includes non-digestible dextrin, aiming to provide a delicious option while mitigating the “negative effects of eating.”

The beverage had a translucent, off-white hue with a fresh, crisp apple aroma and moderate carbonation. Consumed chilled, it delivered a vibrant and refreshing apple flavour at the forefront of each sip, capturing the sweetness of red apples initially and transitioning to a juicy tartness mid-sip. However, the artificial sweetener, acesulfame K, became noticeable in the finish, abruptly cutting off the juicy apple flavour and replacing it with a saccharine sweetness that lingered long after the bubbles of carbonation cleansed the palate. For those sensitive to the taste or potential side effects of artificial sweeteners, this may not be a drink worth repurchasing, despite its refreshing apple profile in the first half of the sip.
