This Hunt and Brew Colombia is a coffee made with single origin beans sourced from ‘La Union of the Narino region of Colombia where the high altitude, soil and climate conditions produce a soft brew that has citrus and sweet caramel notes, with a smoky finish’. It’s a cold brew coffee made with full cream milk and no added sugar.
The coffee is a translucent light brown colour with a distinct smokiness to the usual roasted aroma. Consumed chilled, light notes of citrus flavour without the acidity came through at the head of each sip ahead of a creamy caramel flavour in the body with a rich, cocoa-like bitterness that developed in depth to a smoky finish. This coffee is less smooth than the Honduras or Brazil, but the enjoyable smoky finish gave it a flavour distinct from the other two.
This Hunt and Brew Honduras contained 400 ml. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
