This is the Jack Link’s Beef Stick Original. It contained 80% beef from 100% grass-fed cows.

Each stick was about 11 x 1.5 x 1 cm in size, and individually vacuumed sealed for easy on-the-go snacking.

The sticks had a deep red hue with lighter pockets of fat and a sweet spiced aroma. On tasting, the sticks had a firm texture yet bit through cleanly. They began with an initial sweetness, and a savoury meaty flavour emerged by mid-bite, intensifying with a rich smoky finish. The sweetness returned and lingered in the aftertaste with a subtle touch of spiced heat. The sticks provided a good, bitey texture without being fibrous or sticking between one’s teeth. These sticks were essentially twiggy sticks with great flavour and texture, making them an ideal, delicious, high-protein snack.

This Jack Link’s Beef Stick Original contained 288 g (12 g x 24 sticks). It was produced in New Zealand and received as a gift from acquaintances in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
