These rice crackers measured approximately 5 cm x 2.5 cm at their widest and longest points, emanating a sweet aroma reminiscent of grilled corn. Upon tasting, the seasoning powder delivered a taste of caramelised soy sauce, evoking a pleasingly sweet and savoury flavour. As we progressed through the crunchy rice cracker, the distinct notes of sweet corn became increasingly pronounced. The overall sensory experience and texture brought to mind the Hot Kids Rice Snacks Want Want Senbei from Taiwan, though with a more noticeable corn flavour. However, despite this heightened corn flavour, they lacked the irresistible quality that would justify the premium for repurchasing, unlike the moreish appeal of the ebi senbei.
