This MannanLife Konnyaku Batake White Peach follows on from the apple and grape flavours from earlier.

The jellies are individually sealed in heart-shaped plastic cups and also have numerous notes advising customers that the jelly is a potential choking hazard for small children or the elderly.

The jelly is a translucent pale straw colour with a sweet mellow aroma of white peach.

The white peach flavour was less fragrant on tasting, coming through with more of a generic sweetness flavoured with a hint of artificial white peach that recalled cough medicine. Compared to the fresh and crisp flavours of the grape and apple flavours, we’re disappointed by this peach flavour, which lingered unpleasantly on the palate. Flavour aside, the texture of the konjac jelly continues to have an impeccable bounce on the teeth.
This Mannan Life Konjac Jelly White Peach contained 300 g or 12 pieces of 25 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Ōsaka, Japan in 2018.
