This is the Mars Raspberry Smash Flavour, a limited edition flavour released in 2022.

Each bar was about 10 cm in length and featured a raspberry-flavoured nougat layered with caramel and coated in milk chocolate.

Biting through, the crisp milk chocolate gave way to the gooey softness of the caramel before the firmer soft nougat. The raspberry flavour from the nougat was bold — fruity with an intense and unrelenting sweetness. While the combination of raspberry and chocolate was a classic, the raspberry flavour here lacked any acidity to restrain the sweetness. The overall flavour recalled a Cadbury Cherry Ripe but without the textural interest from the coconut. We’re not fans of this limited edition.
