This is the Marunaga On-mochi Series Mango Suzumi Mochi.

It’s a mango ice cream bar with a soft mochi centre. It contained 25% mango juice, with mango purée and mango juice being the first two ingredients listed.

Biting through the mango exterior, the juicy flavour of ripe mangoes was immediately obvious and came through with a creamy mouthfeel without pronounced dairy notes. The firm exterior contrasted the unflavoured mochi interior, which was not stretchy but remained soft and chewy, extending about halfway through the bar, with the brightness of the mango carrying the flavour of the ice cream bar. We enjoyed the contrasting textures and the bold mango flavour in this ice cream bar immensely.
