This is the Messina Gelato Bar Espresso Dulce De Leche, which is layered with espresso gelato with a biscuit (18%), dulce de leche sauce (9%) and enrobed in milk chocolate (27%).

The gelato bar is a delectable balance with the espresso gelato having a bold, barely sweetened coffee flavour and offset beautifully by the rich sweetness of oozy dulce de leche sauce and the gentle crunch of the biscuit. That said, the sauce was not distributed evenly along the length of the bar, and the gelato bar suffered from one very obvious flaw: there’s nothing to insulate the gelato from body heat when handled. The gelato and the sauce melted more easily than most other ice creams, so we were left with a semi-puddle unless we inhaled it. While it tasted very good, it would’ve faired better as an ice cream stick or an ice cream sandwich.
This Messina Gelato Bar Espresso Dulce De Leche contained 4 bars or 400 ml. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
