This is the Orihiro Purunto Konnyaku Jelly Apple + Grape

The Apple Jelly came in a red-orange coloured pouch and contained 21% apple juice.

The jelly was a translucent off-white colour with a bright aroma of fresh apple juice. The crisp apple flavour was evident at the start of each bite with the sweetness and gentle acidity of juice from red-skinned apples developing in intensity throughout the bite.

The Grape Jelly came in a purple-coloured pouch and contained 18% fruit juice (a mix of grape and apple).

The jelly was a translucent pale red colour with a sweet grape aroma. The grape flavour came through bright on tasting, with a gentle acidity balanced well with a sweetness that peaked in intensity along with the grape flavour by mid-bite.

Along with the lychee and nashi flavours, the freshness and brightness of the flavours of apple and grape made these another two of our favourites.

This Orihiro Purunto Konnyaku Jelly Apple+ Grape contained 12 pieces each of 20 g (6 x apple and 6 x grape). It was produced in Japan and purchased in Ōsaka, Japan in 2018.
