The crisps are a pale yellow colour and dusted in a slightly darker coloured seasoning. Upon tasting, a warm nuttiness dominates and distinctly recalled peanuts or a satay sauce and lingered throughout the bite to the exclusion of other flavours. We’re not sure of the distinguishing featured for a New York-style cheeseburger, but instinct tells us that peanut is not its signature flavour. The extent to which Pringles got the ‘cheeseburger’ flavour wrong surprised us when we considered the products that have done it successfully, including the Twisties, McDonald’s shaker fries.
