Terry’s Chocolate Mint

This is the Terry’s Chocolate Mint, a variation on the well-known orange-flavoured version shaped like a real orange. The mint edition retains the same segmented “fruit” format.

The chocolate sphere measured approximately 7 cm in diameter and was wrapped in green foil adorned with darker green leaf detailing.

Inside were 20 individual segments. The chocolate itself had a medium-brown milk chocolate appearance and a gentle mint-chocolate aroma.

Each segment separated cleanly with light pressure from a knife or spoon, maintaining the familiar snap of the original format. On tasting, the mint note emerged immediately—rounded and mellow rather than sharp. Because it was paired with milk chocolate, the overall effect was smooth and creamy, though it lacked the sharper contrast and cooling lift typically associated with dark chocolate mint confections. The sweetness of the milk chocolate softened the mint’s edge, resulting in a more confectionery, less bracing profile.

Overall, it was an enjoyable and nostalgic novelty that delivered clearly on its mint-chocolate brief, though a darker chocolate base would have provided greater depth and a more refreshing counterpoint to the mint.

This Terry’s Chocolate Mint contained 145 g. It was produced in France and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2025.
