This is the Pågen Gifflar Cinnamon.

These were soft buns filled with cinnamon, each measuring 5 cm in diameter and 4 cm in height.

Sold frozen at IKEA to extend their shelf life, these buns were ready to serve after a quick defrost in the microwave. They featured a smooth, golden-brown exterior that bounced back when pressed. On tasting, they offered the same balanced sweet cinnamon flavour profile as the regular-sized IKEA versions, but with a more tender exterior, lacking the firmer ‘crust’ typical of the larger buns. However, their smaller size did leave us craving ‘just one more’, as suggested on the packaging. Overall, these small, soft cinnamon-filled buns were the perfect snack size—conveniently ready in less than a minute, without the need for a 15-minute oven bake.

This Pågen Gifflar Cinnamon contained 260 g (12 pieces). It was produced in Sweden and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
