This is the Bourbon Fettucine Gumi Fusion Cabernet Sauvignon & Blood Orange, featuring juice from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and blood oranges.

Each gummy measured 4.5 × 1.2 × 0.5 cm, comprising two stripes—red-purple for the Cabernet Sauvignon grape and yellow-orange for the blood orange—coated in coarse sour crystals. Aroma opened with rich musky notes of dark purple grapes alongside the fresh sweet-acidity of raspberry-like blood orange.
Initial contact delivered a firm, al dente bite, while the sour crystal coating provided an immediate crunch and surface roughness. Flavour opened with a brief zestiness before revealing notes of blood orange with its distinctive berry-like citrus character. Through the mid-palate, the bright sourness of the blood orange gradually softened as its berry-like qualities transitioned naturally into the Cabernet Sauvignon grape component. Deep musky notes emerged alongside a rich, juicy sweetness characteristic of dark grapes. Towards the finish, the grape component moved to the foreground, its rounded sweetness tempering the citrus acidity while preserving the refreshing quality established at the outset. Aftertaste carried lingering musky grape notes alongside subtle citrus oils, which imparted a gentle numbing sensation on the tongue.
Overall, a gummy confection with a layered flavour progression and well-integrated textural development, resulting in an elegant transition from the vibrant acidity of blood orange to the rich sweetness of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
